Abstract

Push-pull a-conjugated heteroaromatic systems are compounds that are easy to synthesize and have unique optoelectronic properties, making them well established materials for a ranging of applications. The arrangement of these molecular moieties consists of carrying a terminal communication from the electron donor and the acceptor group through a À-conjugated bridge, establishing a proper donor-acceptor connection within the molecule. The quantum electrodynamics that govern the transport of electrons using time-dependent electrical measurements has demonstrate to be a tool to study different nanomaterials and this research can be extended to push-pull À-conjugated heteroaromatic systems. This is a promisor material for a range of application in AMOLEDs technologies, for instance. We hope to evaluate the quantum dynamics properties of this compounds during the period of this scholarship aiming future applications in biosensors and other types of sensing.
