Abstract The project proposes an analysis of access to justice for children and adolescents in cases involving child and adolescent pornography. The literature indicates that this branch of law challenges the logic of the system of division of competences. Based on this finding, the research question is formulated: How can the division of powers between the Court of Justice of the state of São Paulo and the Federal Regional Court of the 3rd Region in cases involving child and adolescent pornography decided between 2000 and 2023 impact access to justice and protection of children and adolescents? To answer it, it is proposed to comparatively investigate the profile of the judicial responses of these courts on the subject through the quantitative method of statistical models. From the results obtained, it is proposed to understand how the institutional design on access to justice for the protection of these victims dialogues with the concept of symbolic power of law. | |
