Relations between scientific community and society in general require active and continuous efforts to promote a scientific culture. This journalistic research proposal applies to knowledge dissemination efforts undertaken by the Research Center for Biodiversity Dynamics and Climate Change (CBioClima), a Research, Innovation and Diffusion Center (CEPID) of the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP), based at the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). Taking communication as a strategic instrument in the transfer of scientific knowledge to different audiences, the activities proposed here aim to communicate actions, events, investigative processes, research results and knowledge prepared by CBioClima, especially to the local and regional population. To support the proposal, this project presents the aforementioned CEPID as its object of study and discusses the concept of Scientific Journalism. With this, a work plan is drawn up that includes content production activities in scientific dissemination in various media and press relations for CBioClima.
