Abstract

Natural grasslands are "invisible" to science, decision-makers, the press and society. These ecosystems are not even mapped, their importance is not acknowledged and little is known about their biodiversity or the factors that maintain it. The proposed thematic project, to which this bursary will be linked, aims to map and bring to light the knowledge about the biodiversity of these natural grasslands from São Paulo state, as well as the environmental and disturbance factors that maintain them. The mission of the scientific journalism bursar is to share the knowledge produced during the research project.
