Abstract

We are proposing a research plan to work with practical and conceptual features of extreme adaptive optics in the MagAO-X and GMagAO-X projects. It is been proposed the collaboration into development and implementation of a reflective Lyot pupil mask, part of a PIAACMC system, for the MagAO-X, and a post-PDR performance assessment of the GMagAO-X. Both projects are led by the Extreme Wavefront and Control Lab from the Arizona University-USA.
