Abstract

Introduction: The significant increase in the elderly population, concomitant with the growth ofdementia rates, highlights the urgency of effective scientific dissemination actions aboutof these themes. The impact of this condition demands actions aimed at promotingawareness and awareness, aiming to eliminate stigmas and facilitate early diagnosis andhumanized. Therefore, making scientific knowledge about this condition accessiblefor the population as a whole provides a more inclusive and understanding environmentfor those living with dementia. Objective: The central objective is to disseminate informationscientific research on Alzheimer's disease (AD), humanizing the diagnosis and combatingstigmas associated with this type of dementia. The target audience includes elderly people with AD,family members, caregivers, healthcare professionals and the general population. Methodology: Aapproach includes creating videos for social media, written journalistic reporting andpodcast. These materials aim to make information about AD accessible, in order toraise awareness in society and combat the stigmas associated with this condition. will be exploredreal reports, diagnostic analyzes and participation in support groups, in order to enrich understanding the disease. Expected results: Expected to positively impact livesof people with AD, their families and caregivers offering a better understanding of theillness, access to relevant and supportive information. Furthermore, we seek to raise awareness health professionals, strengthen the connection between the scientific community and society, and combat stigmas, promoting a more inclusive view of dementia.
