Abstract

The current proposal involves the production of content and scientific divulgation of the Gender Equality in Science, Technology and Innovation Bilateral and Multilateral Dialogues (GENDER STI) project, as well as its outcomes and researchers, to the general public through creating posts for the project's social media profiles. The proposal aims to enable society's access to the contributions of studies on the impact of gender inequality in international scientific collaborations. Additionally, it seeks to inform the public about the challenges and solutions surrounding this issue in the international Science, Technology, and Innovation discourse. The GENDER STI, a project co-founded by 18 institutions from 16 different countries, approved by the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation program of the European Commission and funded by FAPESP, aims to analyze gender inequality in international collaborations in the field of Science, Technology, and Information. In addition to identifying challenges related to gender equality in careers, gender balance in decision-making, and the integration of gender dimensions in research and innovation content, the project aims to create an environment conducive to the development of common solutions. The sustainability of the project's results will be ensured through the establishment of two knowledge centers, the São Paulo Observatory and the European Observatory on Gender in STI, contributing to the promotion of efficient public policies and the strengthening of Latin American and European dialogue networks. The scientific communication of the GENDER STI project will be carried out through the use of media languages and contemporary narrative formats to enhance knowledge and public access to information on the addressed topic. Furthermore, the goal is to increase engagement on the project's social media profiles, expand the reach of spatial results and expert researchers, and contribute to journalistic content for the Canal Futura and FAPESP platforms. The intention is also to promote the education and involvement of the students engaged in material production with the scientific output associated with the project.Over the six-month period corresponding to the duration of the scholarship, the students will undergo training provided by FAPESP and the Roberto Marinho Foundation, and will produce scientific communication content for the Gender STI project. The proposed deliverables by the team include the production of a Scientific Report and the publication of four Instagram and LinkedIn feed posts, two Instagram reels, a video report for LinkedIn, and a written report for the project's website. The social media on which the materials are to be published are the InnSciD SP profiles on Instagram (@InnScidSP) and Linkedin (http://www.linkedin.com/company/innscid-sp/), as well as the project's website (https://www.caeni.com.br/gendersti).In this way, the aim is to use contemporary multimedia languages and formats to expand scientific dissemination regarding research on gender inequality in the international context of Science, Technology, and Innovation, with the purpose of contributing to the dissemination of interest and knowledge about the issue, as well as potential solutions paving the way for equality.
