Abstract

The videos/reels for social media, titled "Ciência da Primeira Infância" (Science of Early Childhood), are being planned as another means of disseminating and democratizing scientifically grounded knowledge on parenting and child development. The content will be presented in accessible language for both the general public and professionals, contributing to the mission of the Brazilian Center for Applied Research on Early Childhood - CPAPI (FAPESP process n° 2019/12553-0) and aligning with its objectives: 1. Disseminate scientifically proven knowledge that assists mothers, fathers, and caregivers in adopting a positive caregiving style. 2. Highlight the importance of public policies that address social inequalities posing risks to the full development of children. 3. Promote awareness of factors compromising child development and ways to overcome or navigate these factors, aiming to encourage initiatives for the promotion of development among parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders. 4. Demonstrate potential consequences of early childhood care on aspects of adult life. For this proposal, 15 video reels will be produced specifically for Instagram, covering topics of interest for the dissemination of the Science of Early Childhood.
