Abstract The podcast "Bacuri - Science of Early Childhood" is being planned as a means of spreading and democratizing scientifically validated knowledge on parenting and child development. It will use accessible language for both the general public and professionals, contributing to the mission of the Brazilian Center for Applied Research on Early Childhood - CPAPI (FAPESP process n° 2019/12553-0) and serving its objectives: 1. Disseminate scientifically proven knowledge that helps mothers, fathers, and caregivers adopt a positive caregiving style. 2. Emphasize the importance of public policies that mitigate or alleviate social inequalities that pose risks to the full development of children. 3. Promote the use of the Child's Booklet - CC, which embodies and provides guidelines from the Family Health Strategy. Several studies indicate that the section related to psychological development in the CC is often left blank, highlighting the need to address this dimension adequately in practice and underscore its importance. 4. Demonstrate potential consequences of early childhood care on aspects of adult life. For this proposal, three podcast episodes will be produced. | |
