Abstract

Currently, in Brazilian territory, the lack of standardized and widely adopted programs in the educational approach to sexuality is a cause for concern. The predominant focus on biological aspects fails to include important dimensions, such as gender, identity, sexual orientation, consent and violence prevention. This gap becomes even more alarming considering the reality of Brazilian youth, exposed to various social risks, such as violence, sexual abuse, intolerance and discrimination. Given this insufficient situation to meet the demands and needs of young people, this master's project aims to use the Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) approach as an international reference to promote innovation in education. The objective is to collectively develop a new educational proposal in sexual education aimed at students from public schools in the state of São Paulo. Adopting a qualitative approach, the study will use methodological triangulation, combining techniques such as ethnography, document analysis and workshops. Ethnography will allow for school immersion, deepening the understanding of young people's needs and perspectives in relation to sexuality, providing a more complete and contextualized view of their experiences. The documentary analysis will bring a critical analysis of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in light of the concepts of coloniality of knowledge and intersectionality, enabling a reflection on the adequacy of this approach to the Brazilian reality. The holding of workshops will promote the collective construction of the new educational proposal for sexual education, involving not only young people, but also the teaching staff and other actors involved in the school environment.
