Abstract

Brazil has a large fruit production, which generates a lot of waste such as peels and seeds, becoming potential environmental contaminants. Among the fruits consumed with greatest waste production, passion fruit stands out, with only 30% of the product used (pulp) and 70% discarded (peels and seeds). On the other hand, many studies have demonstrated the beneficial compounds present in the peels and seeds, in addition to their antioxidant capacity. Peanut cultivation has great economic, social and cultural importance for the region of Ribeirão Preto, however, the climate presents irregularities in the rainfall and temperatures that negatively affect the development of the crop. In this way, the main of this work will be to evaluate the viability of extract to alleviate water deficit stress in peanut plants. For this purpose, the experiment will be carried out using 2x3x4 completely randomized factorial design with six replicates. The treatments will be formed by irrigated (80% WRC of the vessels); water deficiency (30% WRC of vessels); three forms of extraction (alcoholic, hydroalcoholic and aqueous) and four concentrations (10%, 20%, 40 and 60%). The extract will be applied under two conditions, at 55 days after emergency (DAE) and the other one, after a period of 65 DAE.
