Abstract

This research project complements the Regular Research Project, number 2024/03306-8, with the development of algorithms to protect alternating current transmission lines. The main objective is to assist in implementing time series analysis techniques, to allow the interpretation of voltage and current signals, and to evaluate the operating conditions of these transmission lines. A characteristic of these techniques is the absence of adjustments and information about electrical parameters of the protected transmission lines and the adjacent electrical system, simplifying the commissioning and operation process of the protection systems. The proposed approach aims to improve the efficiency and reliability of protection systems and reduce the incidence of human errors that can cause disturbances in electrical systems.
