Abstract

Corruption has been one of the major focuses of the media today, which report and denounce situations of corruption of large companies and politicians. Although corruption is a global problem of great relevance, appearing with some frequency in research in the humanities, there seems to be a gap in the work carried out with the Brazilian population that involves an assessment of people's judgment about the injustice of corruption. The objective is, therefore, to investigate the judgment of adolescents about the justice/injustice of small daily corruptions. Participants will be adolescents aged 11 to 20 divided into three age groups (pre-adolescence, middle adolescence and late adolescence). The instruments will be two dilemmas with everyday situations of corruption, the composite subscale of social desirability, a sociodemographic questionnaire and the reduced and adapted version of the questionnaire in the Brazilian way. The research will allow us to explore the judgments of adolescents and to ascertain whether they can identify the dimensions of injustice related to small corruption, that is, how much these attitudes perpetuate inequality and the breach of rights.
