Abstract

The objective of this project is to analyze Experience, a central concept in the tradition of Western pedagogical thought, based on the meanings attributed to it in the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC), in the Elementary School - Early Years. To this end, the study is developed on the Philosophy of Education as a field of research and traces the breadth of its research corpus, mainly, in the thought of Walter Benjamin (1892-1940), an important Frankfurtian philosopher, belonging to the theoretical framework of this study, the Critical Theory of Society. The justification for this analysis translates into the continuation of a Scientific Initiation research that ascertained the Experience resignified in the Early Childhood Education of the BNCC and, now, seeks to be deepened in the next school level. Therefore, for the organization, interpretation and effectiveness of this bibliographic-documentary study, we resorted to the Content Analysis (Bardin, 2011). It is a qualitative conceptual investigation of an exploratory nature which, by bringing a consequent comparison between the past and present of the Experience, aims to contribute to the understanding, reflection and review of pedagogical practices based on the meaning of that concept at BNCC, transcending the notion of Skills and Competencies present in the document.
