Abstract

Abstrat:- Studies indicate that gastric juice can affect tooth structure and restorative materials obtained by CAD-CAM technology. However, the effects of this acid associated with simulated brushing on materials obtained by additive manufacturing are unknown. Therefore, the objective of this study will be to evaluate the effects of artificial gastric juice associated with simulated brushing on the mechanical properties of a long-lasting restorative material obtained by additive manufacturing, called VarseoSmile Crownplus (BEGO). A disk-shaped sample will be drawn in the Rhinoceros software (version 7). 60 specimens will be printed, processed, polished and distributed into five experimental groups: G1- will be evaluated for initial mechanical properties; G2- will be immersed in artificial saliva for 3 hours in an oven at 37º C; G3- will be immersed in artificial saliva for 3 hours in an oven at 37º followed by simulated brushing; G4- will be immersed in artificial gastric juice for 3 hours in an oven at 37º; G5- will be immersed in artificial gastric juice for 3 hours in an oven at 37º followed by simulated brushing. The experimental groups will be evaluated for surface roughness, scanning electron microscopy, Vickers microhardness and color analysis. The data obtained will be analyzed to select the most appropriate statistical test for each experiment, considering a significance level of 5%
