Abstract This study aims to study revolt, as a concept and as a libertarian and liberating practice, in the context of Beauvoirian existentialism and the productions of the Brazilian poetry slam movement Slam das Minas SP, respectively. I intend to show, on the one hand, how the poetic and the philosophical integrate action and thought into a single, truly existential purpose that Beauvoir will call "ethical project"; and, on the other, the political dimension of this integration of thought and creative practice that, with a libertarian and liberating purpose, characterize and describe both individuals and the situations of oppression - especially gender - to which these individuals are subjected. . Based on these authors and works, I will seek to expose, finally, the way in which it is understood that revolt, as a real practice of concrete intervention in life, refers to the alternative, perhaps unique for the female individual, of seeking, in Beauvoirian terms, an authentic existence in the midst of patriarchal, racist, sexist societies such as the one we currently live in. | |
