Abstract The proposed research aims to comprehensively address canine mammary cancer by exploring its incidence, risk factors, hormonal influence, mammary gland anatomy, and histological characteristics of the tumors. Additionally, it will investigate the role of biomarkers such as CXCL8 and VEGF in the progression and prognosis of the disease. The study will focus on the correlation between the expression of these biomarkers, tumor vascularization, and clinical/histological parameters in canine mammary tumor samples. Using advanced techniques such as immunophenotyping and detailed statistical analysis, it will seek to elucidate how these biomarkers may indicate disease severity and treatment response, thereby contributing to a better understanding of the disease and potential therapeutic strategies. | |
