Abstract This project proposes a critical study of the relationships between Poetry and Testimony in Brazil, in an analysis of the state of the art. The methodology is based on a dialogical reading between the theories of Walter Benjamin (2012; 2016) and Octavio Paz (2012; 2013) and develops through the proposals of Georges Didi-Huberman, between the theories of imagination and the theories of knowledge. It proposes the method as a deviation (Benjamin, 2016), as a form of fragmentary presentation, which turns to an essayistic writing and aims to carry out a "critical montage", taking as a model the work of Didi-Huberman (2017; 2018a; 2018b). The research corpus, thus, is divided between the specific bibliography relevant to the field of Poetry and Testimony in Brazil - as in Seligmann-Silva (2022); Salgueiro (2016; 2017); Ferraz de Paula (2015; 2017); Vera Lins (2013); Valéria de Marco (2004) - and a constellation of poems and poets, in analyzes that aim at the limits and thresholds of the fields in contact. | |
