Abstract

The undergraduate research student will follow the routine of feedlot management, slaughter, and meat quality analyses of Nelore cattle, assisting in the implementation of good management practices during this period. Additionally, the student will be responsible for assisting with animal weighing, diet delivery, general feedlot management, slaughter, sample collection and preparation of meat samples for lipidomic analysis, data analysis, and the writing of scientific abstracts and a scientific article for publication.
