Abstract

This postdoctoral research project will be carried out within the birth cohort study initiated in 2023 in the municipality of Ribeirão Preto (São Paulo State, Brazil). The planned activities include participation in the longitudinal follow-up of children at 6 and 18 months of age, with a focus on analyzing child development in relation to biological and social risk factors, as well as protective factors. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct a systematic literature review on early childhood development assessment and will perform empirical analyses of the association between observed mother-child interaction and developmental outcomes. The project also includes the dissemination of findings through scientific publications and other science communication strategies.
