Abstract

This research project aims to investigate fundamental aspects of quantum information and thermodynamics in curved spacetime. It will explore relativistic effects-such as time dilation and spacetime curvature-and their impact on quantum and thermodynamic properties, including entanglement, quantum coherence, and entropy production. The central focus is on the formulation and generalization of quantum fluctuation theorems-particularly the Crooks theorem-for localized quantum systems and quantum fields in curved spacetimes, encompassing scenarios with event, cosmological, and causal horizons. Additionally, the project seeks to understand energy-time uncertainty relations and quantum speed limits in relativistic regimes, with the goal of characterizing fundamental constraints on quantum dynamics imposed by spacetime geometry.
