Abstract

The Phanerogamic Flora Project of the State of São Paulo (FFESP) is the main reference source for the development of public policies in the State and demonstrates the importance of the very rich biological collections contained in the major herbaria of São Paulo. However, more than 50% of the flora of São Paulo is still not covered in the eight volumes published so far. This project aims to produce monographs of the families Cunnoniaceae and Geraniaceae in the State of São Paulo, contributing to the training of new taxonomists and the continuation of the FFESP project.
