Abstract

The Phanerogamic Flora of the State of São Paulo (FFESP) project is the primary reference source for developing public policies in the state and demonstrates the importance of the rich biological collections held in São Paulo's main herbaria. However, more than 50% of São Paulo's flora is still not covered in the eight volumes published to date. This project aims to produce monographs on the Magnoliaceae, Trigoniaceae and Winteraceae families in the state of São Paulo, contributing to the training of new taxonomists and the continuity of the FFESP project.
