Abstract

Novel aminocatalysts will be designed based on diarylprolinol silyl ether (Jørgensen-Hayashi) and imidazolidinones (MacMillan) provileged scaffolds, both bearing N-heterocyclic side-chains. Also, kinetic studies will be performed aiming to obtain structure-activity studies correlating kinetic, electronic and acid-base Properties as well as Linear Free Energy Relationships. (AU)
