Abstract

This post-doctoral project aims to analyze gender inequalities in health in Brazil based on the production of a feminist cartographic production. Using advanced ArcGIS Pro tools, the research will seek to visualize and interpret the inequalities faced by women and girls, taking into account factors such as gender violence, access to health services and other forms of oppression. It is hoped that this work will contribute to the development of feminist cartography engaged with social movements and public policy makers, consolidating a line of research of which it is a part. The research will contribute to the formulation of more inclusive policies and to strengthening the position of São Paulo State University in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3 - Health and Well-being, SDG 4 - Quality Education, and SDG 5 - Gender Equality). This is an exceptional post-doctoral project to be carried out in the same group as the doctorate, justified by the contribution of greater international insertion of the group of researchers to which the applicant belongs.
