Abstract

The research project contemplates the study of new geometrically frustrated magnetic materials. The great importance of these materials, reflected in the growing worldwide research activity in these areas, is a result of the enormous range of rich physical properties exhibited, which are of high fundamental scientific interest. The main focus of interest of this project is the synthesis and study of the local structural and magnetic properties of these materials at low temperatures and high magnetic fields. (AU)
