Abstract

The Phanerogamic Flora of the State of São Paulo (FFESP) project is the main reference source for the development of public policies in the State and highlights the importance of the very rich biological collections housed in the main herbaria of São Paulo. However, more than 50% of São Paulo's flora is still not covered in the eight volumes published to date. This project aims to produce the monograph of the genus Fridericia as part of the monograph of the Bignoniaceae family in the State of São Paulo, contributing to the training of new taxonomists and the continuity of the FFESP project.
