Abstract The medical knowledge grows annually; consequently the ability to define relationship between similar information in the health area can contribute to the area. For example, for professionals of the health area, the possibility of preparing surveys of similar clinical cases for research, education and for update of knowledge is an interesting activity, since the available information is very huge and it constantly needs to be mentally related. Similar clinical cases can help health care professionals to better understand the clinical situation of a patient in order to support more precise diagnosis and treatment. This can also improve the quality of medical attendance. The main goal of this project is to explore and extend the automatic creation of semantic relationships between medical documents with similar content. This proposal intends to facilitate and improve the studies of clinical cases. Towards this goal, it is intended to investigate Information Retrieval (IR) techniques; Web Semantics will be automatically related by linking services. As a result the definition of relationships between categorized information must be more precise than the definition of relationships between not categorized medical information. (AU) | |
