Abstract

The central objective of this project of Scientific Initiation is to introduce the learning in the inquiry of the advantages and the cons of the adoption of the Mathematical Modeling as a possible strategy for the education process and learning of the Mathematics in Basic and Middle Educations, from the subject "School Ambient Comfort". For this, initially, the learning will develop a study on the ambient conditions and of work offered the pupils of the campus of the College of Engineering of Guaratinguetá. Relative questions to the comforts will be analyzed thermal, acoustic and lumen, as well as the adequacy or not of the equipment to its users. Afterwards, when an analysis of the collect data and the needs argumentations had been done, the hypothesis will be formulated and finely, the development of the Mathematical Models, which will help us to understanding the ambient questions early specified, will be carry on.
