Abstract

In this project the synthesis of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIP)is proposed , using as templates, acetominophen, atenolol, uric acid, among others. The MIP will be used in the modification of the graphite-polyurethane composite electrode, to the determination and quantification of these analytes of mode selective, in real samples. The principal advantage of this type of eletrode material is the high hydrofobicity, that represents a profit in relation to other composites described in the literature. This project should contribute to the development of methods for determination of substances of biological and pharmaceutical interest, using modified composites electrodes. The modification of the composites should confer to them better sensibility and seletivity. The main contribution of the candidate will be the modification of the composite graphite-PU electrode, which is not performed by the proposing research group.
