Abstract

In order to evaluate the importance of Desmodus rotundus in toxoplasmosis, leptospirosis and rabies epidemiology, sera samples of these animals will be analyzed by Direct Aglutination Method, to evaluate the presence of antibodies anti-Toxoplasma gondii; Microaglutination Test, to evaluate the presence of antibodies from differents sorovars of Leptospira interrogans; and by Indirect Immunperoxidase Serum Neutralization Assay Performed on Chicken Embryo Related Cell Line, for the detection of neutralizing antibodies for rabies.
