Due to influence of the media in the society with the exposition of the "beautiful smile" the patients have demanded esthetic treatments with longevity and quality. The color selection in dentistry is one of the most difficult and important stages of the restoring treatment. Moreover, the time of permanence of the composite resin in the oral cavity and the degree of cure, are the major reasons of the variation of color of those materials. Thus, we consider to evaluate the stability of color of different composite resins in function of its formularizations to know: Durafill-Kulzer, Supreme XT - 3M, Tetric-N-Ceram - Ivoclair Vivadent, FourSeasons - Ivoclair Vivadent, Opallis - FGM, in function of the cure and artificial aging. For each brand of the resins selected will be confectioned five body of test, totalizing 30 samples. The color variations will be measure before the cure (C1), immediately after the cure (C2) and after seven days of aging physicist-chemistry with exposition to UV light (C3) using two different methods of colorimetric analysis: 1) Spectrophotometer of reflectance - (PocketSpec ColorQA" Series 3 - Pocket Spec Technologies Inc. - USA) computational processing of digital images acquired by a digital camera (Sony Cybershoot DSC F828), analyzed with a software to evaluation of the level of dental bleaching (ScanWhite® - DMC). The original data (n=900) will be analyzed by the homogeneity and normality of the sample and, in function of it, the statistical test more adjusted will be chosen to analyze the effect of the composition, cure and aging on stability of color of composite resins.
