Abstract

The purpose of this research project is to study the space climatology of the ionospheric domain over the Brazilian region during disturbed or not geomagnetic conditions, focusing on the local and global processes of the ionosphere-thermosphere-magnetosphere system. The plan of work will be as follows: 1. To get an introductory knowledge about the INPE ionospheric equipment and respective data reduction; 2. Reading of concerning scientific bibliography; 3. Carrying out the digital processing of the airglow imager; 4. Carrying out the digital processing of the Digisonde data; 5. Carrying out of the researchproject; 6. Preparation of the term report for FAPESP (AU)
