Abstract

The first task of the present project is to use the Einstein-Maxwell equations coupled to electrically charged matter to find new regular black hole solutions. These blackholes have a de Sitter interior, a Reissner-Nordström exterior, and an electrically charged shell on the boundary between these two regions. The main physical and geometrical properties of these remarkable charged regular black holes shall also be analyzed in detail. Other solutions of this type with phenomenological charged source should also be found. Regular, asymptotically flat, black holes either with a magnetic charged core or with a de Sitter core are known, but with a de Sitter core together with electric charge, as those we propose to study here, seem to have not been explored. A second task proposed here is the study of stability of the quasiblack hole solutions which has recently been found. (AU)
