| Abstract | |
This work discusses the effects of music on the psyche and the possibility of a clinic of autism guided by musicality, mediating the social bond. The linked sounds, before the representation, are devoid of meaning and have an immediate relationship with the production of affections that are outside language. To discuss the research hypothesis, Rhythm is resumed as a fundamental quality of sensoriality and of bodily and psychic perception, enabling the establishment of an intersubjective space for language constitution. Rhythm is articulated to the concept of structure, which in this work is reformulated and proposed in the form of an Open Structure, based on phenomena of superposition and significant entanglement. From this proposal, the signifier is presented in the Real, which points out ways of coexistence of two or more states of structure. The signifier in the Real is directly articulated to the phenomenon of elision, a mechanism in the autistic psychic dynamic, which acts as a blockage in the perceptual system to avoid the psychic saturation of the corporeal sensorial. Whilst bringing the report of two clinical cases resulting from the research, the work also discusses the processes of alienation and separation, proposed by Lacan, articulating them to Freud's letter 52, on the process of stratification of the psychic apparatus. Such considerations meet with the proposal of a Symbolic Silence on language, which appears as a substitute for the absent deaf point in autism. Finally, the discussed concepts direct the reflection to the concept of Lalangue, which is the substratum that sustains the structuring of language. Before the constitution of the signifier-signified relation mode, the musicality of lalangue establishes the protagonism of perception over meaning, demarcating the multiplicity of affections in fruition by the human sonority. The musical phenomenon allows the psyche to relish affection in an open structure, creating conditions for intersubjective exchanges that are not restricted by the logic of signification. It is concluded that the fundamental element for a clinic of autism is around the musicality of lalangue, as music demonstrates itself to be a type of discourse that articulates the most singular aspects of the subject with what can be shared in collective life. The musicality of sounds influences and creates mediation solutions between the particular subjective experience of the autistic subject and the ways of organization of the social bond. (AU) | |
