Abstract

The present work describes the titania (P25-degussa) chemically modified with 2-aminothiazole and sorption of Pd(II), as well as, thin films synthesis, by the sol-gel method, used in phenol photodegradation. Modified materials characterizations in powder form were carried out by DRIFT, 13C nuclear magnetic resonance, N2 adsorption at 77K (B.E.T.). The thin films characterizations were obtained by infrared and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. (AU)
