- Research Grants
Research Supported by FAPESP assembles referential information of scholarships and research grants from various research modalities, awarded by FAPESP.
Concerning projects carried out in research institutions abroad, FAPESP encourages granted researchers to develop collaborative research with renowned partner organizations from other countries, such as the institution abroad .
The display board "FAPESP Support in Numbers" presents the number of ongoing or concluded scholarships and research grants, awarded by the Foundation, in cooperation with the institution abroad Institut de Mathématiques de Luminy. In the center of the page, you will see some information on those awarded scholarships and research grants.
Use the "Refine results" list of options to filter information on awarded research in cooperation with the research institution abroad Institut de Mathématiques de Luminy and to get results that are more specific for your search, according to the following parameters: type of Research Grants, modalities of Scholarships, Field of Knowledge and Start Date.
The Maps and Graphs show the geographical distribution of FAPESP sponsorship in the State of São Paulo and the historical sequence of funded research, by year, of the ongoing projects from the cooperation with the research institution abroad Institut de Mathématiques de Luminy.
The research project is on the characteristic classes and intersection homology theory. The first subject to be investigated concerns Milnor classes. It is curious that, at the moment, there are few (or none) examples and applications of them. Another point on Milnor classes, is that the Prof. Brasselet gave a conjecture formula for duality of these classes in terms of polar varieties. ...
To continue the development of research projects that the visiting Professor develops with several researchers of ICMC-USP, São Carlos and IGCE-UNESP, Rio Claro. These projects have the main purpose to study invariants associated to germs of map germs defined in singular varieties. The study of map germs defined in singular varieties is improving considerably in the last five years and...
In this work we will investigate connections between Bratteli diagrams, Rauzy fractals and Julia sets.
In this work we will study dynamical, topological and combinatorial properties of a class of stochastic adding machine. (AU)
The aim of this project is the study of characteristic classes of singular varieties, with emphasis on the study of the difference between the Schwartz-MacPherson classes and Fulton classes. This difference is called the Milnor classe, since it coincides with the Milnor number in the case of complete intersections with isolated singularities. The goal is to combine the techniques that t...
