- Research Grants
Research Supported by FAPESP assembles referential information of scholarships and research grants from various research modalities, awarded by FAPESP.
Concerning projects carried out in research institutions abroad, FAPESP encourages granted researchers to develop collaborative research with renowned partner organizations from other countries, such as the institution abroad .
The display board "FAPESP Support in Numbers" presents the number of ongoing or concluded scholarships and research grants, awarded by the Foundation, in cooperation with the institution abroad College of Charleston. In the center of the page, you will see some information on those awarded scholarships and research grants.
Use the "Refine results" list of options to filter information on awarded research in cooperation with the research institution abroad College of Charleston and to get results that are more specific for your search, according to the following parameters: type of Research Grants, modalities of Scholarships, Field of Knowledge and Start Date.
The Maps and Graphs show the geographical distribution of FAPESP sponsorship in the State of São Paulo and the historical sequence of funded research, by year, of the ongoing projects from the cooperation with the research institution abroad College of Charleston.
This is a research project in the area of Representation Theory of Lie algebras. We are planning to study the free field realizations of Date-Jimbo-Kashiwara-Miwa algebras and orthogonal polynomials associated with these algebras. Moreover, we will study topological representations of affine Kac-Moody algebras. (AU)
This is a research project in Algebra. The main goal of the project is to continue, diversify and extend the study of free field realizations for Affine Kac-Moody algebras, elliptic algebras and 4-point algebras. (AU)
The notion of a gerbe was introduced by Jean Giraud in 1971 in the context of algebraic geometry following ideas of Grothendieck. In a more differential geometric setting, this notion is introduced if one lets $\mathcal H$ be a complex Hilbert space and takes $PU(\mathcal H)$ to denote the projective unitary group $U(\mathcal H)/S^1$. Then a gerbe over a topological space $X$ is a princ...
Nutrients are essential throughout the development of organisms. The nutritional requirements, which are represented by amount and balance of nutrients that must be ingested by an individual over time, at minimum cost to fitness, are one of the main driving factors of the interaction between organisms and their environment. Understanding the role of nutrition on the organisms' lives req...
