Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Biological Sciences (1997), Specialist in the effluent treatment area and activated sludge microbiology (1998), Master's degree in Food Science (Microbiology, Environmental and Effluent Treatment), from the State University of Campinas (2005), PhD in Food Science (Microbiology, Environmental Biotechnology) from the State University of Campinas (2010), PhD in (Enzyme Biotechnology) from the University of Minho-Portugal (2009). Collaborating professor in the Food Engineering undergraduate course at the State University of Campinas, teaching the subjects of General and Applied Food Microbiology, and Industrial Process Microbiology (2009). Post-doctoral and collaborating professor in the undergraduate course in Environmental Control and Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Technology of the State University of Campinas, UNICAMP- Limeira, teaching the theoretical and practical subjects of Biology I, Applied Biology to Sanitation, Environmental Control I, Ecology Applied to Sanitation and Environmental Ecotoxicology. Post-doctoral internship in methodologies applied to water analysis, at the Center for Environmental Biotechnology at the University of Tennessee-USA (2013). Currently she is a consultant in Environmental Biotechnology at the company Foxwater, principal researcher and coordinator of the PIPE-FAPESP Project, in the development of bacterial formulations for the removal of NH4, organic load and color in leachate from landfills. Areas of expertise: Environmental Microbiology, Treatment of industrial effluents, leachate from landfills, bioaugmentation and biostimulation in contaminated environments and Aquatic Toxicology.
