Graduated in Biological Sciences (1997), Specialist in the area of effluent treatment and activated sludge microbiology (1998), Master's degree in Food Science (Microbiology, Environmental and Effluent Treatment), from Unicamp (2005), Doctorate in Food Science (Microbiology, Environmental Biotechnology) from the State University of Campinas (2010), PhD in (Enzymatic Biotechnology) from the University of Minho-Portugal (2009).Collaborating professor on the undergraduate course in Food Engineering (Unicamp), teaching the subjects of General and Applied Microbiology to Food, Microbiology of industrial processes (2009). She was a postdoc and collaborating professor in the undergraduate course in Environmental Control and Environmental Engineering at the Faculdade de Tecnologia (Unicamp-Limeira), teaching the theoretical and practical subjects of Biology I, Biology Applied to Sanitation, Environmental Control I, Ecology Applied to Sanitation and Environmental Ecotoxicology. Post-doc in methodologies applied to water analysis, at the Center for Environmental Biotechnology at the University of Tennessee-USA (2013). Since 2011 and currently is a consultant in Environmental Biotechnology in the area of industrial effluent treatment using activated sludge processes, MBR and UASB reactors, at the company Foxwater Serviços Ambientais.Coordinator and principal researcher of the PIPE-FAPESP Project (2019-2024), for the development of bacterial formulations aimed at the efficient removal of ammonia, organic load and color present in landfill leachate. The project seeks to achieve innovative results that can significantly contribute to the advancement of technologies for treating toxic compounds in the environment while preserving the rivers.Activity areas: Environmental Microbiology, Treatment of aerobic (Activated Sludge) and anaerobic (UASB Reactors) industrial effluents, landfill leachate, bioremediation, bioaugmentation and biostimulation in contaminated environments and aquatic toxicology.
