Letícia has a Bachelor in Imagem e Som (Media Studies and Production) from the Federal University of São Carlos (2012) and a Master of Arts degree from The New School University (2016). She did a Iniciação Científica (Junior Research) support by FAPESP in 2011/2012 and had a full scholarship from CAPES and the Science Without Borders Program to do her masters, between 2014 and 2016. Her main research interests, Interactive Media in Public Spaces and Emerging Communication, are part of the research line Digital Humanities, which uses critical and media theory to discuss about the cultural, social, political and economical impacts of technology in the society. Letícia has experience with script writing for multi media platforms, video editing and media production, design and production of interactive pieces and installations. Currently she is a PhD student and has a scholarship at the University at Texas in Dallas, under the supervision of Dr. Anne Balsamo.
