I hold a DVM obtained at Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia (Bucaramanga, Colombia), in 2010. PhD and MSc at the Laboratory of Wildlife Comparative Pathology/LAPCOM, Experimental and Comparative Pathology Program, Department of Pathology, School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, University of São Paulo, Brazil (VPT/FMVZ/USP). Currently linked as a postdoctoral researcher at VPT/FMVZ/USP, researching the occurrence of Brucella spp. in aquatic mammals off the Brazilian coast and performing the molecular characterization of circulating strains in the country. Interest research area: wildlife pathology with focus in marine fauna. Research experience on wildlife diseases; Brucellosis in marine mammals; Capture myopathy in marine mammals and Fibropapillomatosis in sea turtles. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
