Graduation at Bioquímica Farmacéutica from Universidad Central Del Ecuador (2004) revalidated as Farmacêutica-Bioquímica at Universidade de São Paulo (2016), master (2010) and doctorate (2014) at Biochemical-Pharmaceutical Technology - Fermentation Technology Area from Universidade de São Paulo. She was laboratory Instructor in Escola de Bioquímica e Farmácia at Faculdade de Ciências Químicas of Universidad Central del Ecuador, responsible for the graduation disciplines Química Orgânica, Análise Orgânico Funcional, Fitoquímica, Farmacoterapêutica, Toxicologia, Farmacologia, Biofarmácia (2005-2007). She was awarded with a Honorable Mention by the Vale-Capes Science and Sustainability Award-2015 Edition, Thematic Area II: Utilization, reuse and recycling of waste and/or tailings; for her thesis entitled "Estudo de reaproveitamento de meio no cultivo de Arthrospira (Spirulina) platensis" defended in 2014. She carried out a research internship abroad with FAPESP scholarship (BEPE) in 2017, at Research Center on Health Biosciences and Technologies (CBIOS), Lisbon-Portugal. She has experience in Pharmacy and Biotechnology with more than 20 articles published in international journals. She works with industrial bioprocesses, cultivation of photosynthetic microorganisms as well as physicochemical treatments of culture media of these microorganisms. She also investigates the applications and cosmetic attributes of biomass and compounds from photosynthetic organisms. She has a Patent Granted for the reuse of culture medium for photosynthetic microorganisms as well as two requests for the invention of industrial bioprocesses.
