Graduated in Nutrition from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE - 1999), Master in Nutrition from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE - 2001), Ph.D. in Morphofunctional Sciences from the University of São Paulo (USP - 2006) and Post-Doctorate from the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP - 2014). Accredited as advisor in the Postgraduate Program in Food, Nutrition and Health (Master level) and in the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences (Master and Doctorate level) at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP)/Campus Baixada Santista . Professor at Post-Graduations Latu Sensu (Specialization) in Neurosciences and also in Human Physiology and Pathophysiology Applied to Health Sciences at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP)/Campus Baixada Santista. He was an Adjunct Professor in the Department. of Anatomy at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE - 2008) and is currently Associate Professor III and responsible for the Laboratory of Neuroscience and Nutrition (LabNeuN) of the Department of Biosciences at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP)/Campus Baixada Santista.
