Our research interest is the investigation of fundamental processes involved in the conversion of solar energy. For this, we investigate the chemical properties, both in the fundamental state and in the excited state, to understand such processes and, using concepts of advanced material design or molecular engineering, seek to increase their efficiencies. The ongoing investigations in our research group involve nanostructured materials and coordination compounds to improve these functions. We are currently looking to improve systems for converting solar energy into electricity or chemical energy. Thus, we have acted in the understanding of fundamental phenomena that occur in Perovskite Solar Cells; as well as in CO2 Photoreduction processes. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
