My research interest is mainly focused on the intersection of genomics and biodiversity, studying how adaptation processes drive niche occupation and the emergence of new habits. Currently, my lines of research address the evolution of parasitism in higher flies, microbiomes of insect vectors, phylogenomics, and environmental metagenomics. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
