She Psychology (Experimental Psychology) from the University of São Paulo (1999) and a PhD in Ecology from Agroecosystems by the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (2004). She is currently a professor at the Department of Forestry Sciences of the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture, University of São Paulo. She coordinates the Ecology, Management and Conservation Lab (LEMaC http://www.esalqlemac.com/) at ESALQ/USP. Participates as advisor of the Graduate Programs in Forest Resources (PPGRF) and Applied Ecology (PPGI-EA). She is a member of the IUCN Conservation Planning Specialist Group (CPSG). She is a member of the Pró-Carnívoros Institute. She is a Research Productivity Scholarship (PQ-2) from CNPq. She is interested in research in the areas of applied animal ecology, wildlife management, biodiversity conservation, species distribution modelling and human dimensions. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
