Graduated from FCAVJ - UNESP (1999), holds a master's degree in Animal Reproduction from FCAVJ-UNESP (2002). Between 2002 and 2004, he was a technical consultant for the São Paulo Zoo in the areas of raptors management and reproduction, in addition to reproductive management, environmental enrichment and preventive medicine of wild animals. In 2008, he obtained his PhD from the Animal Reproduction Department of FCAVJ-UNESP with his thesis in reproductive endocrinology of free-living kestrels. From 2009 to 2011, he completed his post-doctorate with interespecific transplantation of spermatogonial stem cell transplants in avian species at Michigan State University (USA). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Animal Reproduction Department at FMVZ-USP. Also, he serves as a reviewer for several international scientific journals in the areas of reproduction, endocrinology and poultry science. He has experience in the area of Veterinary Medicine, with emphasis on Reproduction of Domestic and Wild Birds, acting mainly on the themes: monitoring and reproductive management of poultry breeders, semen analysis and artificial insemination , reproductive endocrionology, non-invasive endocrine monitoring, and conservation of avian germplasm.
