PhD in Biomolecular Physics from the University of São Paulo (2010), he has a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Federal University of Alfenas (2008), Graduation in Pharmacy - Biochemistry from the same institution (2006). He is currently Dean of Graduate Studies at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) (Management 2022-2025). He was Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Chemistry at UFG (2019-2021), when the program went from concept 4 to 6 in the CAPES evaluation. He has experience in the areas of Chemistry, Physics and Pharmacy, with an emphasis on Materials, Drugs and Medicines, acting mainly on the following topics: polymorphism of pharmaceutical solids, crystallography, development of new materials with improved optical properties, and structural determination of small molecules by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Leader of articles authored only by Brazilians published in JACS (highlighted on the cover of the 8th issue of 2019) and in ChemComm (2020). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
