Graduated in Agricultural Engineering from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture, University of São Paulo (USP/ESALQ), in 1999. At the same institution, he obtained a Master's degree in Agronomy in 2002, with an emphasis on precision agriculture and agricultural automation. In 2007, he completed his PhD in Agricultural Engineering at the State University of Campinas (FEAGRI/UNICAMP), where he conducted research on remote sensing and geoprocessing. He served as a MS-3 faculty member at the Geoprocessing Laboratory of the College of Agricultural Engineering at Unicamp from 2007 to 2008. Since 2008, he has been working as a researcher at Embrapa Digital Agriculture, focusing on research related to the use of geotechnologies in agricultural and environmental monitoring. Currently, he is the Deputy Head of Research and Development at Embrapa Digital Agriculture and a Collaborating Professor in the Graduate Program at the College of Agricultural Engineering at Unicamp.
